Segal’s, Galil (Israel) Cabernet Sauvignon Dishon Vineyard 2002

($30, Royal Wine Company): Firmer than Segal’s single vineyard Merlot (no surprise there), this Cabernet comes across slightly leaner but with more complexity.  (It’s like comparing sirloin and filet.)  A match with beef or lamb would be the obvious choice because its tannins will cut and balance the fattiness of those dishes. 90 Michael Apstein Sep 4, 2007
